This is the fee Amazon charges for picking, packing, shipping, and handling customer service for each order. It's based on the product's packaged size and weight — not the selling price. Getting your packaging dimensions right before you ship to Amazon matters here.

⚠️ Dimensional weight — the hidden trap
Amazon charges based on whichever is greater: actual weight or dimensional weight. Dimensional weight = Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 5,000. A lightweight product in a large box will be charged at its dimensional weight, not its actual weight. Right-sizing your packaging before sending to Amazon can save AED per unit.

Monthly storage fees

Amazon charges you to store inventory in their UAE fulfilment centres. This is billed monthly based on the daily average volume (cubic feet) your stock occupies. On most products these fees are small — but they compound if you overstock.
