How to Send Inventory to Amazon UAE & Noon Warehouses in 2026
A step-by-step guide for international sellers — from importing goods into the UAE to getting stock live on Amazon and Noon.
Selling on Amazon UAE or Noon is one of the fastest-growing opportunities in the Middle East. Whether your products are manufactured in China, Turkey, India, or Europe, this guide walks you through every step of the process in 2026: importing into the UAE, clearing customs, preparing your inventory to FBA and FBN standards, booking your warehouse appointment, and getting your stock live and available for sale.

Why the UAE marketplace in 2026?
Amazon UAE (amazon.ae) and Noon are now the two dominant e-commerce platforms in the Gulf, attracting a combined audience of over 40 million monthly visits. The UAE market has several structural advantages that make it unusually attractive for international sellers:
$59.8K
GDP per capita — higher than Germany
97%
Internet penetration in UAE
English
Primary language — no translation needed
Less competition
Far less saturated than US or EU
💡 Key 2026 opportunity
Amazon is investing $200 billion in capital expenditure in 2026, with a significant portion going into UAE and Middle East logistics infrastructure. Early movers who establish strong inventory positions now are well placed to benefit as the platform expands.
2
Before you ship: what Amazon and Noon require
Before your inventory enters an Amazon UAE or Noon fulfilment centre, it must meet their inbound requirements. Getting this wrong causes rejections, delays, and additional fees that eat directly into your margins.
📦
Product labelling
Every unit must have a scannable barcode — either a manufacturer barcode (EAN/UPC) or an Amazon FNSKU label. For Noon, a specific Noon SKU label is required on every unit.
🏷️
Carton labelling
Each shipping carton needs a unique FBA Box ID label generated in Seller Central (or a Noon equivalent). Labels must be placed on the outside of cartons, clearly visible and scannable.
🪄
Packaging requirements
Products must be in original sealed packaging or properly poly-bagged. Fragile items need bubble wrap. Products with expiry dates must show them clearly and meet Amazon's shelf-life requirements.
📋
Inventory accuracy
Your shipment quantities must exactly match what you declare in Seller Central / Noon Seller Lab. Discrepancies trigger holds and investigations that can delay your stock going live by weeks.
⚠️ Most common reason shipments get rejected
Incorrect or missing FNSKU labels are the single most common reason Amazon UAE rejects inbound shipments from international sellers. If you're not applying these labels correctly before dispatch, your stock will not be accepted — and you'll face re-labelling fees or return shipping costs.
3
Choosing between air freight and sea freight
Most international sellers use a combination of both depending on urgency and volume. Here's how to think about the choice:
✈️Air freight
Transit time: 3–7 days from most origins
Cost: Higher per kg — typically $3–8/kg
Best for:
• Urgent restocks to avoid going out of stock • New product launches • High-value or time-sensitive inventory • Shipments under 200 kg
🚢Sea freight
Transit time: 15–35 days (China to UAE)
Cost: Much lower per cbm — best for bulk
Best for:
• Large, planned bulk shipments • Heavy or low-value products • Building up 2–3 months of stock • Reducing cost per unit
💡 Pro tip: the hybrid approach
Most experienced UAE sellers ship the majority of their stock by sea and use air freight only for emergency restocks or product launches. Storing bulk stock at a UAE 3PL like ARRIVAGE means you can do frequent small replenishments to Amazon and Noon without paying Amazon's long-term storage fees on your full inventory.
4
UAE customs clearance: what international sellers need to know
This is the step that catches most first-time international sellers off guard. Unlike some markets, Amazon is not the importer of record in the UAE — you are. This means customs compliance is your responsibility, not Amazon's.
a
Documents required for UAE customs clearance
You will need: a commercial invoice, packing list, airway bill or bill of lading, certificate of origin, correct HS code classification for your products, and any specific product permits or conformity certificates required for your category. Missing or incorrect documents are the main cause of customs holds and delays.
b
Customs duty and VAT
Standard UAE customs duty is 5% of the CIF value (Cost + Insurance + Freight). UAE VAT is an additional 5% on top of the total including duty. Some product categories attract higher duties or exemptions. Products entering via Dubai may also require Dubai Municipality registration (particularly food, cosmetics, and health products).
c
Importer of Record (IOR)
If you don't have a UAE trade licence, you'll need an Importer of Record service — a UAE-licensed entity that legally handles the import on your behalf. ARRIVAGE can assist with this for international sellers. Without an IOR, your goods simply cannot clear UAE customs.
d
VAT registration
If you're a non-UAE resident selling goods to UAE customers via Amazon FBA, you are required to register for UAE VAT. Registration must happen within 30 days of your first taxable sale. This is non-negotiable and Amazon actively enforces it. Consult a tax advisor familiar with UAE VAT before you begin selling.

Amazon FBA UAE: labelling and carton requirements
Amazon UAE uses the same inbound standards as other Amazon marketplaces, but there are some UAE-specific requirements worth knowing about. Getting these wrong is the single most common reason shipments are rejected at the Amazon warehouse door.
Unit-level requirements
✓ FNSKU barcode on every unit
✓ No sticker over expiry dates
✓ Expiry dates visible if applicable
✓ Poly bag or sealed packaging
✓ "Sold as set — do not separate" if bundled
✓ Arabic language labelling for some categories
Carton and pallet requirements
✓ Unique FBA Box ID label on each carton
✓ Max carton weight: 23 kg (50 lbs)
✓ Max carton dimensions: 63.5 cm on any side
✓ Pallets: 1.0m × 1.2m four-way wooden
✓ Max pallet height: ~1.7–1.8m incl. pallet
✓ Four FBA pallet labels, one per side
⚠️ Arabic labelling requirement
Certain product categories sold in the UAE — including food, cosmetics, health products, and some electronics — require Arabic language labelling to comply with UAE consumer protection regulations. This is enforced at both the customs level and by Amazon UAE. Check your product category requirements before you ship.

Noon FBN: how it differs from Amazon FBA
Noon's Fulfilled by Noon (FBN) programme is the equivalent of Amazon FBA on the Noon platform. With around 18 million monthly visits, Noon is the second-largest marketplace in the UAE and well worth stocking alongside Amazon. There are some important differences:
Amazon FBA UAE
• FNSKU barcode per unit
• FBA Box ID per carton
• Carrier Central appointment required
• Weekly appointment slots
• Stock visible in Seller Central
• Amazon fulfils and handles returns
Noon FBN UAE
• Noon SKU label per unit
• Noon carton label per box
• Noon-specific appointment booking
• Faster receiving in some cases
• Stock visible in Noon Seller Lab
• Noon fulfils and handles returns
💡 No trade licence? Noon is still accessible to you
Unlike Amazon UAE which works with international sellers through existing accounts, Noon typically requires a UAE trade licence to open a seller account. ARRIVAGE offers a unique solution that lets international sellers access the Noon marketplace without needing their own UAE trade licence — contact us for details.

Booking your Amazon UAE warehouse appointment
Amazon UAE requires a confirmed Carrier Central appointment before any truck can deliver to a fulfilment centre. You cannot simply show up. This is one of the most frequently missed steps by first-time sellers — and without a confirmed slot, your driver will be turned away at the gate.
1
Create your shipment plan in Seller Central. Go to Inventory → Manage FBA Inventory → Send/Replenish Inventory. Select your items and quantities, confirm the destination fulfilment centre (Amazon will assign this).
2
Print FBA Box ID labels. One per carton, generated from Seller Central. Print and affix these before your shipment is collected or leaves your prep centre.
3
Book your Carrier Central appointment. Log into Carrier Central with your carrier's account (or have your 3PL do this on your behalf). Select the fulfilment centre, date, and time slot. Slots fill quickly — book as early as possible.
4
Deliver on time with the right documentation. Your driver must present the BOL/manifest, a list of FBA shipment IDs, and the Carrier Central appointment reference at check-in. Any missing paperwork results in the delivery being refused.
✅ ARRIVAGE handles all of this for you
We book the Carrier Central appointment, manage the paperwork, and deliver on the confirmed slot — so you never have to navigate this process yourself. All you need to do is tell us when you want to replenish.

Working with a UAE 3PL: what to look for
For most international sellers, using a UAE-based third-party logistics provider (3PL) is the most practical and cost-effective solution. A good 3PL handles the steps between your goods clearing customs and your stock going live on Amazon or Noon — relieving you of the complexity while keeping your costs predictable.
📥
Receiving & inspection
Takes in your stock from overseas or local suppliers, checks it against your manifest
🏷️
Prep & labelling
Applies FNSKU labels, packs to FBA/FBN standards, builds pallets correctly
🗄️
Flexible storage
Holds your bulk inventory at a lower cost than Amazon's own storage fees
📅
Appointment booking
Books Carrier Central appointments on your behalf and delivers on the confirmed slot
🚚
Weekly FC delivery
Regular scheduled runs to Amazon UAE and Noon — replenish on demand
📋
Proof of delivery
Stamped delivery confirmation so you know exactly when stock is live
When choosing a UAE 3PL, look specifically for a team that has direct experience with Amazon FBA inbound requirements — not just a general freight forwarder. Incorrect labelling or non-compliant pallets will still result in rejection even if the 3PL made the error. ARRIVAGE's team is composed of ex-Amazonian Seller Central and logistics specialists who have worked with GCC and European sellers — which means zero compliance errors on our watch.
